Advantages of tent transportation

The main advantage of tilt semi-trailers over rigid semi-trailers is the ability to load loads from the top, side and rear. This provides convenience and speed when loading long loads up to 13 meters.

Loading can be carried out by several loaders from the side or over the top by crane. It is convenient to transport various cargoes in tents, such as packed wood, fittings, pipes, equipment and reinforced concrete products.

Cargo transportation by tilt semitrailers is carried out with and without a flatbed:

• tilt semitrailer without a flatbed (with a curtain);
• tilt semitrailer with a flatbed.

Tilt semitrailers with a flatbed are less convenient for unloading and loading cargo due to the necessity to open the sides and dismantle the beams. However, this is compensated by increased safety of cargo during transportation, as its movement is limited by the sides. Some cargoes do not require securing with straps when loading into such semi-trailers.

Flatbed semi-trailers (curtain semitrailers) are very convenient for loading palletized or packaged goods. The easily movable curtain tarpaulin makes it easy for the truck driver to open and close the semi-trailer. All transported loads must be additionally secured with straps.
